Create a basic product

  1. Go to Inventory > Products.
  2. Click New product.
  3. Enter the product name.
  4. Set the sale price.
  5. Select the category it belongs to.
  6. Save the product.

With these fields you can already sell the product from the POS. Other fields are optional but recommended.

Add an image and description

Images and descriptions are especially important if the product will appear in your QR catalog, where customers see it before ordering.

  1. Inside the product, click the image area to upload a photo.
  2. Use square images of at least 800×800 px for best quality.
  3. Add a short description explaining the product.

Configure variants

Variants let you offer the same product in different presentations (e.g., Size S/M/L, Flavor vanilla/chocolate, Size small/large) with different prices.

  1. Go to the Variants section of the product.
  2. Click Add variant.
  3. Define the attribute name (e.g., Size) and its options (e.g., Small, Medium, Large).
  4. Assign a price to each variant.
  5. Save your changes.

Add modifiers

Modifiers are options customers can add or change on a product without altering the base price (or with an extra charge). Examples: no onion, extra cheese, sauce on the side.

  1. Go to the Modifiers section of the product.
  2. Select an existing modifier group or create a new one.
  3. Define whether each option has an extra cost.
  4. Save your changes.

Inventory control

If you want to track stock, enable inventory for the product.

  1. In the product, enable the Track inventory option.
  2. Enter the initial quantity available per location.
  3. Set the minimum level for a low-stock alert.

Inventory is automatically decremented with each sale recorded in the POS.

Channel visibility

Each product can be available in the POS, the online QR catalog, or both. Control this from the Channels section of the product.

  • POS: visible to the sales team at checkout.
  • Online catalog: visible to customers who scan the QR or visit the web store.
